Every tissue in the body is fed by the bloodstream, which is supplied by the bowel. When the bowel is dirty, so are the organs and the tissues. It is the bowel that must be cared for first before any effective healing can take place. ~ Just a few sessions of colonics may reverse a lifetime of neglect and are a proven tool to energize and uplift our bodies from the deepest areas of toxicity. It's not a cure-all, but an essential aspect of allover health and wellness. Internal cleansing brings a new sense of awareness and incentive to healthier living.
Cleansing is a natural essential function of the body and healthy life. Detoxification is the process by which the body eliminates toxins from its cell. Toxins exist everywhere and lead to major health problems. Everyone can benefit from cleansing on a periodic basis. You’ve heard about “you are what you eat”- well consider this, you also are what you don’t eliminate! Toxicity occurs in our bodies when we take in more than we can utilize and eliminate. Whether it be food, emotions, or mental waste. Colon cleansing is a direct outlet, and it provides a way of eliminating waste and stressors from all levels of our being, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Whats a Colonic? aka Colonic Irrigation or Colon Hydrotherapy session, it is an ancient holistic detoxification process dating back to 1500BC. It's an effective healing practice that can help reshape and hydrate the tissues, exercise the colon muscles, relieve sick wind/gas, awhile bringing self-awareness and education of the body’s self-healing capabilities. A session is about 45 minutes to an hour long. No fasting or special measure is necessary before your first treatment.
During a colonic, the client is draped, laying comfortably on the back on a massage table, relaxes and self-inserts a finger-size sterile disposable tube, called a speculum, into the rectum about 1 and 1/2 inches. The therapist is there to assist the client to relax with a variety of massage techniques and operate the colonic medical device. Like in a yogic practice, the client is coached to focus on opening and relaxing the body with breath. The therapist will let in a little body-temperature filtered water, remind the client to breathe, relax, open and receive the water, then with perfect timing, the therapist will release water and waste out. This is repeated in progressive intervals, water going in, and water with waste going out, through the outlet tube and into the waste pipe of the colonic machine. There is no smell or mess.
You may experience a feeling of relief, lightness, cleanness, clarity and deep insights. Colonics safely and hygienically cleanses the colon/large intestine, which is feed by the bloodstream, thus providing an all over cleaner inner environment. Consider it a gentle, effective and enlightening shower on the inside”. Unlike laxatives, colonics are not habit forming, nor is there any danger of bowel perforation. It may be very useful during a cleansing protocol, helping with circulatory, immune and weight problems, in preparation for a medical procedure, or afterwards to help the healing process, After a long airplane trip, or when feeling slightly feverish, or when a cold is coming on, Colonics may be helpful during migraine headaches, sinus and skin congestion, or simply when feeling depressed, sluggish and unhealthy.
How do I prepare for my colonic? Deepen your breath, to feel more inside, and ask yourself; what do I need to let go off? What do I do eat, drink, think, feel and say that doesn't serve me anymore? What do I need to change and what am I really ready to let go of, on all levels of my being? Get clear of what you would like to receive from your colonic session,
set an intention, and then get your body enrolled...The night before your session, it’s better to have no alcohol and get a good night sleep, so the liver and nervous system is relaxed, thus more receptive to letting go, cleansing and healing. The day of; try not to eat or drink too heavy or too much, 2 hours before your session. You may even decide to do a form of “pre-cleanse” i.e. liquid diet, freshly pressed veggie juices and smoothies only, for a day/days, prior – to help alkalize and rest the digestive organs altogether.
Alkalize your system! When we are too acidic ( due to all kinds of stress, poor eating habits, improper breathing, lack of exercise and hydration, environmental and other factors) it causes the red blood cells to clump, degrade and excrete toxic waste. The body's channels of elimination (liver, lymph, lungs, colon, kidneys, blood, skin) become overloaded. Most degenerative diseases are the result of too much acidity in the body. Acidity provides the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, fungus, parasites, viruses, and cancers, and it upsets the normal vital internal environment. Thus we want to implement more alkalizing life habits and feed ourselves a more alkalizing diet.
1-2 cups Warm Water
juice of 1 Lemon or Lime
1-2 Tbls Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (cold pressed & unfiltered with probiotic sediment)
1 tsp Raw Honey -
Make sure you use warm water, not hot, which would destroy ingredients probiotics and enzymatic properties). Make and drink upon raising - This tonic is alkalizing and restorative to the whole digestive system, especially supporting liver and bowel health. May also be used as a digestive aid, after a heavy meal, to relieve heartburn.
Hydrate! Drink more water. Add a little lemon or lime to your water. Have one fresh pressed veggie juice/day.
Make or order a 16oz mostly green veggies and fresh herbs, sweetened with apples, lemon, and little ginger.
Breathe deep and stop the obvious stressors i.e. recreational drugs, sodas, alcohol, all processed food, and sugar. Avoid caffeinated beverages, fast food and animal products - doing that, will get the channels of elimination to open.
Remember,“Nothing tastes as good as Healthy feels”
How will I feel after my colonic? Most clients feel great, light, enlightened, inspired, energized and relieved after a session. However, some clients may experience cold-like symptoms or a headache after. The cause is dormant toxins have been stirred up, some released and some reabsorbed by the body. Such a healing crisis generally passes quickly with rest, hydration, and possibly further treatments soon thereafter.
How many sessions do I need? It varies with each person's prevailing condition, diet and lifestyle. A series of three sessions, is recommended for anyone who has never done colonics. Some clients have amazing results immediately and others need to come for regular sessions for a period of time. Then seasonal cleansing is a great maintenance practice.
What do I do after my colonic Clients often report they are inspired to implement a healthier lifestyle, with more stress management and better food habits. Breathe deeper, drink more alkalizing fluids, and eat organic wholesome foods.

Eat more cultured foods.
Lubricate your system, Stay regular and help balance hormones, by eating fatty fish 2-3 times/week. Or take EFA's - Essential Fatty Acid Oils; Udo’s choice, Flax, Hemp, Borage, and/or a good quality fish oil i.e. New Chapter Oils.
Stay away from processed food! Eat mostly organic, vegan or vegetarian, simple and small meals. Slow down to eat, bless your food, chew lots! Don’t overeat and don’t drink while eating - it slows and interferes with your digestion.
Breakfast – Enjoy a variety of fresh fruits and whole grains; grapefruit or fresh grapefruit juice, watermelon, or papaya, oatmeal w shredded apple and cinnamon, 2 eggs (semi-hard-boiled is most filling) or a salad. Or blend a Superfood Smoothie (with fresh coconut water, adding frozen berries, super greens powders, EFA oils, hemp seeds,
green veggies, maca, pumpkin seeds, etc) or fresh-pressed Veggie Juice 8-16 oz, i.e. celery, apple, and ginger.
Lunch – Should be the bigger meal of the day - Mostly organic grains, greens and vegetables, Only some high-quality animal meats and wild caught fish. Ayuervedic Kitchiri (rice and lentils) is a great staple meal.
Dinner – Eat light at night, i.e. soup, salad, bone broth, fruits. Drink herbal teas i.e. Mint, Pau D’arco. Chamomille,
Snacks – Fruits and veggies, sprouts, seeds, soaked nuts, kale chips, flax crackers - stay away from processed foods like power/diet bars, cookies, and fried foods. Drink herbal teas, fresh pressed juices, smoothies, and broths.
Supplements - 1 Tbls Aloe Vera juice before meals or at least once, before breakfast has both nourishing and cleansing effects. Take Vitamin A, B, C, D, E daily, Digestive Enzymes, Fiber, Probiotics, and EFA's.
Eat light at night! Have your bigger/heavy proteins in the middle of the day, as digestion slows at night.
Exercise daily! To get your lymph moving, and feel better. Walk, do yoga, dance, sweat, take a sauna. Dry skin brush.
Journal! Write down your high lights/low lights each day, and also note down what food had good or bad effects.
Pray! Keep an attitude of Gratitude! Make an altar to help you live by your highest intentions.

I am so grateful for finding Ninaya. I doing chelation and need a Colonic every two weeks for 6 to 9 months. She has made me so comfortable with this cleansing, I can relax to the point of almost falling a sleep. She knows the perfect pressures points and massage techniques which has resulted in excellent cleanses. After a colonic. I feel like I glow and tingle all over, and my body thanks me.
