More About Watsu®
Warm water is the ideal medium for freeing the body. - Let yourself be floated in someone's arms in water that gently lifts you each time you breathe in, it's warmth penetrating, melting the tension. Drift into deep levels of relaxation as your body is stretched free. Flow into states of consciousness to which stored tension and trauma deny access. Flow onto a level of Being where there is such joy and peace and wholeness, the cause of that tension or trauma can no longer overwhelm you. This is Watsu!
Watsu®: stands for Water Shiatsu.
It was created in Northen California in the eighties by healing artist Harold Dull, exploring Zen Shiatsu moves in the warm waters at Harbin Hot Springs. Watsu is now offered worldwide, in spas, rehabilitation clinics and private pools, as a powerful modality for healing trauma, injuries, pain, and stress.
Gentle gradual twists and pulls relieve the pressure a rigid spine places on nerves and helps undo dysfunction this pressure causes in the body. Our bodies are more than 80% water and naturally strive to flow to be healthy. Warm water's therapeutic benefits and its freeing of gravity’s pull, make it an ideal modality for healing to happen on all levels.
Hi Ninaya! I want to thank you again, quite sincerely, for the session today. It was so healing and nurturing, and your deep stomach massaging was really effective. It just felt like you were un-blocking! Although I would not categorize either of my other two past experiences with colonics as bad, it was nice to feel so comfortable, and getting the additional support from you made a big difference! See you next week! Robin S
I am so grateful for finding Ninaya. I doing chelation and need a Colonic every two weeks for 6 to 9 months. She has made me so comfortable with this cleansing, I can relax to the point of almost falling a sleep. She knows the perfect pressures points and massage techniques which has resulted in excellent cleanses. After a colonic. I feel like I glow and tingle all over, and my body thanks me. She has also been very accommodating to my schedule. As I have gotten to know her, she is also a role model for living your life following your heart which leads you to what is important in life.
